Does anyone ever suffer RLS in the palm of either hand? Although I have suffered from RLS since childhood, I have begun to feel the same uncomfortable sensations most often in my right hand.

I have always thought I was allergic to Benadryl - although it is fairly uncommon to be allergic to this drug apparently. I have an autoimmunue disorder - CVID - and need a steroid like drug before treatment with gamma gobulin - Benadryl could not be given because in the past it had caused extreme agitation. I had since then always refused it in favor of Decadron. I just read where Benadryl should NEVER be given to patients with RLS because it crossed the blood brain barrier. I don't understand the connection but am irritated that none of my doctors and they are many - had not picked up on this before - instead of always questioning me if I was really allergic to Benadryl. I guess I'm not "allergic" - I just don't tolerate it due to the RLS! IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE?????
